Passenger Jones LP "Float Slowly" Jan. 31st. Hal and Mals/Record Release and other thoughts - January 26, 2009
It's been a long time coming for our record we are working on. We've settled on Float Slowly for a title. I dig it. The guys do too. Taking a break from the final two days of mixing at Dave's house in Jackson. Byron Knight is doing a killer job mixing things down and getting us ready for mastering in Memphis on Tuesday. Everything finally has seemed to line up for Passenger Jones. It was a wild goose chase trying to get everything we needed for this weekend's mix. We made it though. Record release will be Jan. 31st at Hal and Mals. Gonna be fun as hell. Love of my life. Our good friends, and kick ass band (I believe in them), Telephant will be sharing the stage with us. The just released their first LP up in Nashville. Great record. Ross! Gabe! Looks like work is calling. Before I go I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all our families and amazing friends for loving us and pushing us to do all this. You all are the best!
